German newspaper Bild is reporting this morning that 24-year-old German midfielder Mesut Özil will be allowed to leave Real Madrid should the Spanish giants receive an offer of around £38 million.
The German international is worried that the imminent arrival of Gareth Bale could cost him all important match time ahead of next summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
Manchester United is in the market for a midfielder so I would not be surprised if we see David Moyes make an approach.
