On-loan Manchester United striker Angelo Henriquez has revealed that he has no desire to return to Old Trafford after having settled in at Dinamo Zagreb where he has scored 11 goals in 17 appearances for the club, and that he would like to remain in the Croatian capital once his loan agreement is up this summer.

The 20-year-old Chilean international was signed by United in 2012, but has never made a senior appearance for the Red Devils after having been sent on-loan to first to Wigan Athletic and then Real Zaragoza in Spain before joining Dinamo Zagreb last summer.

“Dinamo is making an effort to buy my contract from Manchester United, which means they are satisfied with me,” he told the club’s official website.

“I feel great at Dinamo and in Zagreb, I feel great on and off the pitch and that is why I want to stay here. People here accepted me, I’ve gained many friends, Zagreb is beautiful city and the fans love me too.

“We are on the way to win the double and to compete in Champions League qualification and I am looking forward to being a part of that.”
