Surely not the type of Old Trafford job Manchester United fans want, but just Mourinho has signed, and officially confirmed he will be managing an England side against the rest of the world, that will be managed by Leicester City’s Claudio Ranieri. The match, a charity exhibition match, is to be played for fund raising purpose for soccer aid, a charity organisation.
The match which will take place on the 2nd of June will be between celebrities and legends and all proceeds from the match will be donated to Soccer Aid which supports Unicef. Mourinho in the match will be assisted by current Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce whole singer Robbie Williams will be the team’s coach.
Confirming the acceptance of the job, Mourinho said;
“I want to be the first one to win the Soccer Aid trophy for both teams, England and the Rest of the World. Sam and I will make a very good partnership and it will be a great feeling for Claudio to finally lose a match! I hope the organizers can help me now with an English passport!”
Jose Mourinho has ever since he was sacked by Chelsea in December been constantly linked with a move to Manchester United as the replacement for soon to be sacked ( well according to reports he will be sacked at the end of the current football season ) Louis Van Gaal.
