Nigerian U-17 World Cup winning captain Kelechi Nwakali is flying to London where he is expected to sign for Arsenal.
Nwakali has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates these past few weeks after having been scouted by the Gunners during last year’s U-17 World Cup in Chile.
Before boarding the plane to London, Nigerian news outlet the Tribune via Metro managed to grab a word with the young Star.
‘I am going to Arsenal to work and try to be the best I can,’ he said.
‘With God anything is possible, to work hard to justify my claim for first team football.’
