Newcastle United is wasting no time in preparing for next season, and top of their signing list is Ajax player Jan Vertongen.
After watching the 24-year-old in last night’s Ajax win over Manchester United Vertonghen has become a favourite for the North East side this summer.
They are not alone however with both Arsenal, and Tottenham keen to sign the young defender.
The Magpies are also interested in Romaine Amalfitano an attacking midfielder who plays his football for French side Reims.
