Newcastle, Alan Pardew

By  Mark Finlay, 3/3/14

Can you just imagine for one minute that it was Luis Suarez involved in this incident rather than Alan Pardew?

My feeling however on the matter is that what Pardew did as a manager is far more serious than anything that a player does on the pitch, with the manager supposedly being a figure of authority, the wise old-head that keeps his players in line.

In Pardew’s case I am afraid his time is up with the latest incident of head-butting a player from the opposing team while you are in your technical area totally unacceptable.

If a member of the public had done that to one of the players not only would he face a ban from football, but also a fine and possible time in jail for his behaviour yet Pardew thinks he can say sorry and carry on as normal.

This is not the first time the 52-year-old has had to defend his behaviour after having run-ins with Martin O’Neil, Arsene Wenger  and then his disgusting language when he called Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini an “old  c**t !!!

Newcastle has come out and fined him £100,000 for his misconduct and the FA after reading referee Kevin Friend’s report will probably issue a six-match touchline ban.

When you read about professional sports stars and their behaviour being copied by children, is the message Alan Pardew is sending out what parents want to see their children watching on television or at the match itself.

For me, I think the guy has said sorry for once last time and not only does he need to be removed from the game he should also be required to undergo anger management classes as well.
