Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will drop goalkeeper Asmir Begovic for this weekend’s match with Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
Belgium No.1 Thibaut Courtois will be immediately recalled to Chelsea’s first XI despite not having played since Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace back in August.
The injury to the 23-year-old Courtois gave the former Stoke City shot stopper the perfect opportunity to put his stamp on a starting role with Chelsea, but unfortunately his start for the Blues coincided with the teams worst ever form in the Premiership.
According to Metro via the Daily Telegraph Courtois has been training all week and will start for Chelsea in Saturday evenings match.
