After having been plagued with injuries Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere must now wait to discover if a metal plate will need to be inserted to help heal his latest fracture.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was hoping that following a rest over the international break that the 23-year-old would be fit to play, but with the leg fracture still bothering him he is set to visit a specialist to see if more surgery will be necessary, and if so it would mean a further six-weeks on the side-lines for the England international.
While there is no doubt that Wilshere is a talented footballer, these constant injuries are not only hampering his future, but has us wondering if he is just one more blow away from ending a promising Arsenal and England career.
