Mesut Ozil is an Arsenal player and he is going NOWHERE says Wenger

When asked today about the talk surrounding a Juventus move for Arsenal No.10 Mesut Ozil, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger put rest to fans worries by saying: “Ozil is our player, he will remain our player and he wants to remain our player.”

“It is a big season for him because he had a difficult start last year and in the second part of the season he was very important.

“There are many offensive players who have an important season in front of them but I’m confident because I think they have the quality”.

The Gunners boss then talked about Raheem Sterling’s £49 million move to Manchester City saying at no time was Arsenal interested in signing the youngster.

“It is a good buy for Man City. It is an expensive one but they can afford it.

“We never considered it because he plays in an area where we have plenty of players. We have Walcott, Chamberlain, Sanchez, Wilshere who can play wide, Gnabry, so we have plenty of players and he’s a wide player basically, or behind the striker.”
