Manchester United winger Angel di Maria was seen back training today following an injury to his pelvis and could play for the Red Devils against Stoke City on New Year’s Day.
Belgium youngster Adnan Januzaj (illness) and Ander Herrera (muscle problem)have also been back to training this week and could feature in LVG’s team for what is expected to be a tough match at the Britannia Stadium on Thursday.
Likely to miss the encounter with Mark Hughes’s team are Marcos Rojo (thigh), Daley Blind (knee) and Marouane Fellaini (illness).
