According the Spanish sports newspaper AS Manchester United has renewed their interest in Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao.
United came very close to signing the Portuguese international last summer before talks broke down just as the transfer window was closing.
Since then United has continued to track the 27-year-old and will make another effort to sign the left-back at the end of this season.
Coentrao has failed to be a regular starter in trainer Carlo Ancelotti’s team, but is often called upon to play in important matches as was the case in last year’s Champions League final.
