Manchester United

Reports coming out of France and carried by the Daily Express suggest that Manchester United are planning to sell Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria in the summer to provide the funds for a sensational move for either Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale.

Di Maria only moved to Old Trafford from Real Madrid last summer for £59.7 million, but could be on his way to the Parc des Princes in Paris if reports are true that Gareth Bale will be available for £90 million due to the fact trainer Carlo Ancelotti prefers to play Isco rather that Bale and that he would be willing to let him move.

As far as Cristiano Ronaldo moving back to Manchester is concerned we here at Soccer Transfers feel a move for Bale is certainly a possibility, but we cannot see CR7 leaving the Santiago Bernabeu anytime soon.

This is good news for Paris Saint Germaine who has now given up any hope they had of signing Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, and only failed to sign Di Maria due to fair play regulations.

When asked last summer about a move to PSG Di Maria said: “PSG, they had a money problem and they couldn’t buy players,” he said.

“It could have been a good experience for me to go to Paris.
