The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the Red Devils could use Belgium international winger Adnan Januzaj as a bargaining chip with PSV Eindhoven in their attempts to get Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain target Memphis Depay to move to Old Trafford.

United is said to be willing to pay the Dutch champions £25 million for the 21-year-old winger, and would be prepared to offer Januzaj on loan in an effort to push a deal through.

20-year-old Januzaj does not feature in manager Louis van Gaal’s current plans at Old Trafford, but the Dutchman would like to be reunited with World Cup star Depay.

When speaking about the possibility of Januzaj on a season-long loan PSV Eindhoven sporting director Marcel Brands said: “If such a player like Adnan Januzaj would like to come and play Champions League football, you have a chance of making a temporary move.”
