Manchester United to flex their FINANCIAL MUSCEL and bring £68.3m Striker to Old Trafford

Manchester United is in need of a top notch striker if they are to challenge Chelsea and Manchester City for next seasons Premiership title, and this that in mind manager Louis van Gaal may take full advantage of the clubs financial power when he goes after Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The 27-year-old Argentinian international is eager to leave Italy and would certainly fit the profile of the type of player Louis van Gaal wants at Old Trafford.

The one stumbling block however remains Napoli’s stubborn stand on what they consider is a fair price asking a whopping £68.3 million which is up there with Paul Pogba prices.

£55 million sounds a more realistic price to us here at Soccer Transfers, but saying this Fichajes.net is claiming the Dutchman is prepared to pay Napoli’s asking price if he has to.

Higuain meanwhile along with Karim Benzema are also being linked with a move to Arsenal, who like United and Liverpool need to find a top striker this summer.
