Manchester United has entered the race for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.

The decision comes about after the Red Devils realized both Edinson Cavani and Thomas Muller will only be sold by their clubs for a bid over £50 million, which makes the big Belgium international look like a bargain at only £32.5 million according to the Daily Telegraph.

Liverpool is also keen on signing the 24-year-old but would not relish a bidding war with United who are still hopeful that they can convince Villa to sell Benteke for less than his buyout clause.
