Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United is preparing a £51 million bid ahead of the January transfer window according to reports coming out of Italy being published on the website METRO.

The report claims that Red Devils boss van Gaal has been given £51 million to sign Juventus players Arturo Vidal and Angelo Ogbonna with an eye for them to move to United January 1st the day the window opens.

Dutchman van Gaal is keen to add to his squad after a slow start to the season and thinks that tough tackling midfielder Vidal and the strong physical presence of centre back Ogbonna are needed if United is to have any chance of a top-four finish.
