Manchester United has apparently got the jump on both Manchester City and Tottenham following Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claims that Red Devils scouts were seen watching Bruno Martins Indi during last week’s Champions League game against Chelsea.
Manager Louis van Gaal is keen to shore up his defence following the loss of Luke Shaw to the squad after the 20-year-old broke his leg against PSV Eindhoven and sees Dutch defender as the ideal player to replace Shaw after having worked with him in the Holland national team.
Meanwhile Manchester City and Tottenham were also thought to have had scouts at the Estadio do Dragao Tuesday night, but the way things look right now, Manchester United is definitely winning the race.
