It would appear as if Manchester United has thrown their hat in the ring for Napoli defensive midfielder Jorginho, after reports over the weekend suggested that new Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp was looking to make the Brazilian born Italian his first signing at Anfield.
United manager Louis van Gaal is also interested in the 23-year-old as a replacement for the aging Michael Carrick as the Red Devils boss evaluates his long-term holding midfield options.
Both teams could still however face a bigger threat than each other following reports that French Champions Paris Saint-Germain has also been sending scouts to watch the former Verona player.
