Manchester United striker Robin van Persie will reportedly become a Fenerbahce player tomorrow.

It seems just yesterday the Dutchman ditched Arsenal to join United and help them win the Premiership title his first season with the Red Devils, for whom he has scored 57 goals in 105 appearances for the club.

Last season however he struggled with injuries and given the fact he is now 31-years-old, manager Louis van Gaal decided it was time for him to move on and lift the burden of his hefty wage from Manchester United’s books.

Manchester United fans will now of course be expecting the Dutchman to bring in at least one top striker following the earlier departure of Radamel Falcao, and now van Persie.
