Manchester United are linked with a surprise for Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will become a free agent this summer.

The 34-year-old has seen it all in world football, as he has won an incredible amount of league titles and cups across Europe. However, the UEFA Champions League continues to elude him and it is believed that he could be on the move in the quest to achieve this feat.

A move to England is on the cards, with Manchester United tipped as frontrunners in the race for his signature. But with the lack of Champions League football next season, it remains to be seen whether this move will see the light of day.

There is no doubt that United need a player of Zlatan’s calibre since they have struggled to see the back of the net in some games despite having one of the best defence in the league this season. The Swede international has scored an incredible 44 goals and 16assists in 43 appearances for PSG this season, which shows that he still has the potency to martial the attack of any top side in Europe.

Linked with a big money move to China, he is rumoured to be weighing up a tax-free €70million a year (£56.1million) move to Asia.

He is yet to disclose his next destination amidst interests from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.
