Manchester United makes Tottenham Striker their No.1 SUMMER TARGET

Manchester United has officially made contact with Tottenham over the possibility of bringing England striker Harry Kane to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are apparently ready to offer the north London outfit £40 million for the 21-year-old after he caught the eye of United manager Louis van Gaal last season.

The 63-year-old Dutch trainer sees Kane as the ideal replacement for Wayne Rooney, and according to the Sun Rooney has also told the boss it would be great to play together with his international teammate.

Tottenham will only sell Kane very reluctantly so it will be interesting to see how this story plays out.
