Manchester United joins Liverpool in Hunt for ARSENAL ACE

Manchester United is now the latest club to throw their hat in the ring for Arsenal Ace Theo Walcott after reports last week suggested Liverpool were interested in signing the England international.

The last time Walcott sat down with Arsenal to renew his contract it dragged on for nearly a year until the now26-year-old got the £90,000 per-week wags he was after.

At the time he had Gunners boss Arsene Wenger over a barrel with the Frenchman not having a player to come in and take over, but remedied that situation in the summer by signing Danny Welbeck from Manchester United, who now despite Walcott’s return to fitness is Wenger’s first choice in his starting XI with Walcott now reduced to being a bench warmer.

Reports in the Daily Mail are suggesting that the Arsenal boss and Walcott had a bust up last week and that both parties are denying, but with the news that Arsenal has already lined up Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus as Walcott’s replacement the writing may already be on the wall with the Gunners expected to sell the former Southampton Academy man for as little as £15 million and put the money towards the German international.
