Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says the club already has replacements in mind should David de Gea leave the club this summer.

The 24-year-old Spanish international is out of contract next season, and is heavily being linked to a move to Real Madrid where he will take over first team duties from veteran Iker Casillas.

“We have a list of goalkeepers who can replace him because we have to be organised always,” the Dutchman said.

“We want him to stay and I hope he shall sign,” Van Gaal said.

The Dutchman however stressed it all came down to the players decision.

“It’s dependable not of Manchester United, not of me, because we want him to sign. He has to sign, he has to want to stay here at Manchester United. I don’t know [why he hasn’t decided].”

There is also plenty of speculation at the moment surrounding the future of Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale with talk of a possible move to Old Trafford for the Welsh winger, and when asked about that LVG said: “I have seen that I buy everyone in the world but it’s not like that.”
