manchester united,

Already two games into Manchester United’s pre-season tour of North America, and there has been no sign of Belgium international midfielder Marouane Fellaini despite the 27-year-old having been re-born under the leadership of Dutchman Louis van Gaal last season.

The speculation is that van Gaal sees no point in using Fellaini during the pre-season tour due to the fact he is banned from the clubs first-three Premier League matches following what can only be described as a stupid tackle against Hull City’s Paul McShane on the final day of the season.

Perhaps this is van Gaal’s way of punishing him for such a reckless tackle, but it makes no sense to us here at Soccer Transfers as Fellaini proved himself to be one of the Red Devils standout players last season, and if you are not going to give him an outing during your pre-season tour how do you expect him to be fit and gel with the rest of the team once he has completed his three-game ban.

Is there something else going on that we do not know about?
