British sports radio show TalkSport is reporting that Manchester United will face stiff opposition from Real Madrid if they go after Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal from Juventus this summer.
The 26-year-old midfielder is on United manager David Moyes wish list as he plans to overhaul his aging United squad in the summer.
Last season’s Premiership champions will now however have to battle Spanish giants Real Madrid who have reignited their interest in the 45 cap Chilean.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had wanted to sign Vidal from his old club last summer but did not have the £40 million that it would require available after having bought the high-priced Gareth Bale and Asier Illarramendi.
