Manchester United appears confident of signing Southampton defensive midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin before they fly out to Seattle to begin their pre-season tour on Monday, according to reports in the Guardian.
The Red Devils have already had a £20 million bid for the 25-year-old French international rejected by the Saints who value him closer to £30 million.
United boss Louis van Gaal though is confident that should he put a £25 million bid on the table that a deal can be wrapped up quickly and that Schneiderlin can join the rest of his new team for the trip to America.
