Manchester United are now the front runners to sign Fluminense star striker Kenedy after the club, apparently lodged a £5.7million bid for the 19-year-old last week.
While the truth is Kenedy has been known about by European clubs for some time it was his performance in the U-20 South American Championships in January that got the United’s scouts attentions.
With a physique and playing style similar to fellow Brazilian forward Hulk, United will hope to beat Inter Milan to the striker counting on their successful deals in the past that saw them acquire Fabio and Rafael da Silva from Fluminense in 2008.
