Manchester United is apparently wasting no time in getting their summer targets lined up with Real Madrid French international Raphael Varane and Valencia’s Argentinian centre-back Nicolas Otamendi said to both be in the Red Devils crosshairs.
Manger Louis van Gaal is looking to add some bite to his defence for next season, and this pairing should United manage to sign both would certainly do just that.
Real Madrid’s Varane has been on United’s radar for some time now, while negotiations with Valencia are believed to be under way for the £40 million rated Otamendi.
British daily tabloid the Express says that Manchester United is confident of getting both deals in place before the transfer window opens.
