Manchester United and Chelsea will be bitterly disappointed this morning on learning that midfield target Atletico Madrid’s Arda Turan has signed for European champions Barcelona.
Barcelona has reached an agreement with Madrid for the 28-year-old Turkish national team captain despite him being ineligible to play for the Catalan giants until their transfer ban is lifted in January.
The five-year-deal went through after Barcelona agreed to pay the mattress makers 34€ million plus the possibility of another 7€ million in add-ons.
