Jose Mourinho to dump Manchester United for Real Madrid

The candidacy of Jose Mourinho to become the next Manchester United manager has gotten more backing. Recently, Sir Alex Ferguson confirms he will like Louis Van Gaal to be given more time to proof himself, United ambassadors such as Bryan Robson, Vidic, Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke have all confirmed their support for United to appoint Mourinho as Jose Mourinho’s replacement.

Most of these United Ambassadors had initially hinted they would like Ryan Giggs to take over from Louis Van Gaal is the Dutchman ever gets sacked but they seem to have one after the other changed their mind.

First is Andy Cole who was quoted as saying;

“If he was to become Manchester United manager, I think he would be something special,” Cole said in 2009. “The guy has got so much charisma – the Premier League misses him. He has got so much about him. When he talks everyone wants to listen. Regardless what it is, everyone sits up. Jose has the credentials,” said Cole. “He knows how to bring the best out of his players like the current manager. It would be fantastic if he got the job here.”

Personally I think Mourinho and not Ryan Giggs should be given the job. The Portuguese is quite experienced and he is exactly what the Red devils need at moment. Giggs is not tested and should not be trusted with the United job just yet.

Should the club go on and employ Ryan Giggs and he fails, it would be difficult to find any other big name manager who will be willing to accept the job. The last thing United want is to become the next Liverpool – a midtable team that hires and fires manager at will.
