Manchester City has made further enquiries into the availability of Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne but is still to make an offer for the former Chelsea player.

According to The Mail, the Qatari backed side is interested in the 23-year-old and know they must meet Wolfsburg’s £40 million valuation of the talented playmaker before the Bundesliga side would be willing to let him leave.

De Bruyne’s agent Patrick De Koster confirmed that City has made contact with him and that German Giants Bayern Munich and French champions Paris Saint-Germain have also made enquires as to the Belgium internationals availability.

Chelsea must be kicking themselves now after letting the midfielder leave to Germany where he has scored 15 goals along with 19 assists for the high-flying Wolfsburg this season.
