It looks as though Manchester City’s pursuit of Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling could be a done deal by the end of this week despite the Citizens already having a £40 million plus add-ons bid rejected by the Merseyside club, it would appear as if now aided by the FFP ban being lifted on them and Paris Saint-Germain that the Middle Eastern backed club is ready to meet Liverpool’s £50 million valuation in order to bring the 20-year-old to the Etihad.

According to the Daily Star City wants to have the deal wrapped up so that Sterling can join them for their pre-season tour of Australia later this month where they will play AS Roma and Real Madrid.
