Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea’s future was up in the air last night after his agent Jorge Mendes refused to rule out a summer move to Real Madrid.

De Gea has 18-months remaining on his current contract and has yet to agree terms with United as he waits for an offer from the Spanish giants.

When his agent was asked by the Spanish media if he could see De Gea at Madrid Mendes said:
“David is amazing, he’s brilliant.”

“He’s a Man United player and has a contract there. You have to respect that but things change every five minutes.’

United meanwhile have signed former Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes, yet despite this manager Louis van Gaal insists De Gea will sign a new contract at Old Trafford.
