Everywhere he has gone in his career Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has created controversy, and it would appear as though Old Trafford is no exception after the way he treated his fellow countryman Robin van Persie.

According to the Mirror, the 63-year-old Dutch manager told van Persie in front of his teammates that he would no longer be training with the rest of the team, and that he should go train alone, leaving the 31-year-old striker feeling as though he had been betrayed.

At was at that point he knew his time as a Red Devil had come to an end, instructing his agent to talk with Fenerbahce about a possible move to Turkey.

A £4.7 million transfer fee was agreed upon by the two clubs, with Fenerbahce agreeing to pay van Persie £240,000 per-week in wages during his three-year contract, yet despite all this he is left with a cold heartless feeling about the way it all played out, and probably wishes he could have left the English giants in a better way.
