Brazilian midfielder Lucas’s Anfield future is in doubt following a reported bust up with Reds manager Brendan Rodgers according to the Daily Star.
The 28-year-old did not feature in last Sundays match against Stoke City, despite holding midfielder Joe Allen missing the match through injury, leading to speculation that all is not right between him and the Reds boss.
Lucas did however play yesterday behind closed doors at Melwood against Welsh side TNS in which new signing Roberto Firmino scored a hat-trick in the 5-1 win, along with the other first team squad members that were missing against Stoke.
In the past Lucas has been linked with a move to Serie A side Inter Milan, but the Italians now seem to have cooled their interest.
