LIVERPOOL are on the verge of signing Moroccan winger Oussama Assaidi.
The 24-year-old who has been targeted by Fulham and Ajax has flown to Merseyside for a medical.
The Morocco forward is said to have signed a £2.8million deal with Liverpool and the club are confident a move will be made.
Brendan Rodgers is also hoping to clinch Nuri Sahin from Real Madrid on loan but is facing stiff competition from Arsenal.
Nuri Sahin is said to prefer a move to Arsenal but with Rodgers having a good relationship with Real manager Mourinho it could mean Liverpool will have the upper hand.
Rodgers worked under Mourinho while he was manager at Chelsea.
