All the Spanish sports newspapers are running a story this morning claiming that Barcelona has sent scouts to Anfield in order to watch Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson.

The Wearside born 24-year-old is widely expected to take over as Captain of the club after Steven Gerrard leaves to go and play for the LA Galaxy in California.

Henderson still has 18-months remaining on his current contract with the Merseyside club, but reports in the Daily Mail suggest he is soon to be offered a new £80,000 per-week deal.

Meanwhile El Mundo Deportivo is saying that Barcelona is looking to sign him once their Fifa transfer ban ends in January of 2016.

Liverpool has quite a few young stars playing for them right now, and with Philippe Coutinho playing like a man on fire and Raheem Sterling still having not signed a new contract it might not only be Henderson that the Catalan giants are watching.
