According to L’Equipe Liverpool is still considering going after Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette with the French internationals future still up in the air after his refusal to sign a new deal in France.
Liverpool is said to be in touch with the 24-year-olds representatives but the two sides still seem far apart on any agreement, as is also the case with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
L’Equipe suggests that Lacazette, who’s current contract expires in 2018, could put in a transfer request to get the ball rolling, knowing that a move out of France other than to PSG would see him earn considerably more money than he currently makes at Lyon.
