According to news coming out of Spain Liverpool is ready to increase their bid for Real Madrid defensive midfielder Asier Illarramendi, and the Spanish giants are ready to accept.

Knowing that the future of the 25-year-old was uncertain at the Santiago Bernabeu, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, who by the way is a huge admirer of the Spanish international submitted a bid of £10.5 million to try and bring him to Anfield, and after having been unsuccessful in his first attempt is now set according to reports set for another bid of £14.2 which should convince Los Blanco’s to sell.

Illarramendi impressed earlier in his career but has not been given the playing time at Madrid, leading Rodgers to believe that is he is allowed to play he will get back the magic he once showed.
