Liverpool tells Stoke they can have Oussama Assaidi for £7m

Stoke City is eager to sign Liverpool’s Moroccan winger Oussama Assaidi on a permanent deal after the 25-year-old had an impressive loan spell at the Britannia Stadium according to the Daily Mirror.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes was left stunned when he heard the Reds asking price for a player that they had only paid £3.5 million for when they signed him from Dutch club Heerenveen two years earlier.

Liverpool however is in the driving seat on this matter as Brendan Rodgers will either bring Assaidi back to Anfield or use the money from his sale for more players as the club increases the squad ahead of Champions League football next season.
