Representatives from Liverpool have flown to Barcelona to try and tie up a loan move for 19-year-old winger Adama Traore, according to Catalan radio station RAC1.

The young Spaniard was being linked with a move to Old Trafford, before Manchester United stalled on the deal opening the door for Liverpool to step in with the Reds expected to sign Traore on a season long loan with the option to buy next summer.

Traore is said to be open to the move to England following Barcelona B getting relegated to the third tier of Spanish football, and will add to the wealth of young talent Liverpool now has at Anfield.
