It would appear if reports coming out of Spain are correct that Liverpool is preparing to offer around £14 million for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

The Old Trafford favourite is currently on loan at Real Madrid where he gets very little playing time in trainer Carlo Ancelotti’s star studded team and looks certain to be headed back to the field of dreams this summer.

The trouble for the Mexican international is that United manager Louis van Gaal has no plans for the former Guadalajara man in his team, and while he might be reluctant to sell Hernandez to a Premiership rival we here at Soccer Transfers feel Liverpool and their style of play could give him a chance of getting his career back on track.
