Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has dashed fans hopes of seeing some new faces at Anfield despite the club being linked with a number of targets this coming transfer window.

Despite not having a good start to the season and sitting eight in the league the Northern Irishman feels has all the players he needs to see out the season telling Sky Sports:

“There won’t be much activity for us in January. We brought in a lot of players over the course of the summer that we feel can develop, and those players are now starting to adapt to the life here at Liverpool and our way of working. I don’t think it’s a good time to spend. If you look at last year, we never brought anyone in. My job is to coach the players we’ve brought in, to manage them.”
