According to the Mail on Sunday Liverpool is considering a January move for West Brom striker Saido Berahino who is also thought to be at Tottenham target after the England U-21 international has impressed both clubs while scoring repeatedly for both club and country this season.

Spurs are reportedly ready to offer £15 million which falls well short of the Baggies expectations while Liverpool on the other hand could be prepared to up the price to £25million after having conceded that the £16 million they paid for Italian striker Mario Balotelli has not paid off.

West Brom would be under pressure to accept £25 million for the 21-year-old but should they refuse to sell Swansea’s Wilfried Bony, a striker that was being linked to Liverpool during the summer could be another option for the Reds.
