Liverpool is now the front runner in the race to sign German midfielder Marco Reus according to website METRO as Borussia Dortmund are already working on finding a replacement.

Liverpool were alerted to the 25-year-old availability after he refused to sign a new contract with the German giants who are said now resigned to the fact that he will be leaving and have put Paris Saint-Germain’s Javier Pastore as top of their target list and have already started moves to bring the Argentinian to the Westfalenstadion in January.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be a huge admirer of Reus and is prepared to make him the clubs highest paid player in order to lure him to Merseyside.
