Liverpool have completed the deal for Portuguese defender Tiago Ilori from Sporting Lisbon for an as yet unknown amount.
The 20-year-old has been clocked in time trials as faster than Cristiano Ronaldo was at his age, and has represented Portugal at both U-18 and U-10 levels.
“Liverpool have a great team and I think it’s the place for me to be at the moment,” Ilori told the club’s website.
Ilori is Liverpool’s sixth signing of the summer, more to follow….
