As Liverpool’s summer spending spree shows no sign of letting up anytime soon, manger Brendan Rodgers has added Monaco’s Tunisian international defender Aymen Abdennour to his list of summer targets.
The 25-year-old was one of the Principality’s stand out stars last season and has gotten the attention of several other clubs including Barcelona according to Abdennour’s agent Abdelkader Jilani, who said Barcelona, long-time admirers, had made a €30 million approach — but added that they were not the only club keen to make a move.
“They are one of the interested parties, like Milan, Inter, Juventus and Liverpool,” he said.
