There is no doubting that Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp knows how to get the best out of his players at Anfield, and with that in mind it comes as no surprise to read that the former Borussia Dortmund boss is looking for players who are perhaps not living up to their potential with the clubs they are at.

One such player is Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar, according to Calciomercato who claim that Klopp has identified the 23-year-old Senegalese international as a player that could help the Reds goal tally next season in an area where they have had trouble except of course for their last two games against Stoke City and Borussia Dortmund where they back of the net eight times.

Babacar has scored seven goals for Fiorentina this season, but has often found himself playing second-fiddle behind Croatian international Nikola Kalinic, with the club deploying the 28-year-old former Blackburn Rovers forward as a lone striker.

The figure being talked about is around £5 million and certainly worth a punt especially if the Reds recoup the £32.5 million they paid for Christian Benteke.
