Liverpool football club has decided to fire assistant manager Colin Pascoe after earlier showing Mike Marsh the Anfield exit according to Sky Sports.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers brought Pascoe with him from Swansea when he took over as manager in 2012 but has now been told his services are no longer needed after a “comprehensive plan for improvement”  was agreed upon by the clubs owners during meetings in Liverpool on Tuesday.

Talk of who will now replace Marsh and Pascoe has already started with ex-Bayer Leverkusen manager and former Liverpool player Sami Hyypia being put forward along with Dutch winger Boudewijn Zenden who served as assistant manager at Chelsea while Rafa Benitez was in charge of the club.

Meanwhile there has been no news of goalkeeping coach John Achterberg position so we are to assume he will remain in his role for now.
