According to the Sunday People newspaper Liverpool has offered Spanish giants Real Madrid £15 million for midfielder Asier Illarramendi.
The report claims that the Reds had an earlier offer of £10 million rejected by the Spanish giants, and have now gone back with a second much larger offer in the hope that a deal can be done.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has struggled to get playing time in Real Madrid team and is thought to be keen on the idea of moving clubs this summer.
Liverpool fans keep your fingers crossed that this deal goes through as Illarramendi is a quality player that has found it difficult to fit into a star studded team.
